"Perfectly Stable!"
My doctor didn't waste any time bringing the good news! In fact, she said I could come back "in three or four months," depending on my schedule, so I have earned my longest interval between scans!

Krista I am so glad to read your GREAT report. My husband was diagnosed with brain cancer when our daughter was 9 months old. So, I understand the bitter sweet questions that you hold as your children reach the milestones in their lives. By God's grace our daughter will be turning 20 years old this year and my husband will joyfully be able to celebrate that day with his family! Against all the odds God healed him. I am so sorry for all that you are facing. I have prayed for you today. Bless you!
Krista, you were on MY mind yesterday while I got my first ever MRI. I am having my low back checked since it's riDONKulous and always hurting...but I digress.
anyway, while experiencing my first MRI I could not stop thinking about you and many others who have to do them on such regular schedules! HOW DO YOU DO THAT?! Please tell me you take an anti-anxiety medicine first! Wow. It was so awful. I don't think my ear plugs were in very well because that was the most deafening machine ever. Loud, random fog-horn and machine gun sounds for 30 minutes! HORRIBLE.
How do you handle that so often?? You're amazing...seriously.
I'm so glad that the news is so wonderful--you deserve to hear such things.

WOW! Reading your blog and the comments has been really inspiring for me. My nephew was just diagnosed with GBM right before Easter this year and had brain surgery on April 2nd. He is currently doing chemo and radiation. What I had read about GBM on the internet had me pretty down. Thank goodness someone posted your link on his blog. He is very spiritual and trusts that it is God's will. I pray for him all the time. I now also know that there can be miracles! Thanks for sharing and thanks as well to those that leave their comments about their progress. May you continue to be an inspiration to all those you meet, whether in person or on the internet. Thanks for giving me hope for my nephew!!1

This is wonderful! I'm quite happy for the good news and hope you can enjoy the extra time not spent in that tube!
