Question for the Day

I just downed a very tall, very cold glass of milk in order to wash down my medication. The result was a brain freeze like I hadn't had in a long time.

So naturally, the question went through my mind - does brain freeze also cause tumor freeze? Can I ward off seizures by eating ice cream too fast?

(Just kidding - I know the answer, but it was fun to think about for a moment!)

That would be great if it did!!!!
It's kind of sad that bad news is usually what keeps family in touch. Until you have news of some sort, everyone doesn't really keep in touch. I am really good at not keeping in touch, until there is news.
Our prayers will be with you and Jared and the kids. I know a little bit (second hand) of what you and your family may be going through. My father-in-law has just beat his second round of Lymphoma. My mother-in-law also went through something similar to this a few years ago. It didn't end up being a tumor, but it was still scary. Not easy, especially for my husband who is the only son. I am not going to promise or say that I will keep in touch more, because, by my own admission, I probably won't. Not because I don't want to, I just never do. (I can't even keep in touch with my own siblings very well). But I do hope that all goes well and know that my family and I will be thinking of you.

I heard what happened last week and Jared just gave me your blog. It is such sad news to hear. After reading your blog, I am so glad that you have kept your sense of humor. Please let me know or tell Jared of what me or my family can do to help.

P.S. BTW, if you don't remember who I am, I work with Jared and we met at my birthday at Kobe Steaks last year.
