Ain't That a Kick in the Head

(My apologies to Dean Martin):

How lucky can one girl be?
I kissed him and he kissed me
Like the fella once said, Ain't that a kick in the head?
The room was completely black
I hugged him and he hugged back.
Like the sailor said, quote, "Ain't that a hole in the boat?"
My head keeps spinning;I go to sleep
And keep grinning; If this is just the beginning
My life's gonna be beautiful.
I've sun- shine enough to spread
It's like the fella said,"Tell me quick - Ain't love like a kick in the head?"

Dedicated to my favorite "kick in the head" - my dear husband and great love of my life, Jared!

I guess we could safely say, pumping gas does NOT cause brain cancer! You are in my every prayer. I can clean house very well so ask me to help. Love you all these years. When did you move to Plano? It seems so long ago I have had the priviledge of knowing you, admiring you, sing with you. There will be much more of that. We pray for a miracle. Doctors do not know the power of the Priesthood or prayer and fasting, do they?

Hi Krista,

My mom, Cathi, forwarded your blog to me. You may only vaguely remember me, Tristan Webb, but I very certainly remember you and Jared. I read every word in you blogs just now, and I can tell you that I am not surprised. You and Jared have been a tangible example for me of a loving couple who know what this life is about. This may sound strange since I've not seen you in many years, and then only for breif encounters. But each time, I have remarked to myself the strength and "coolness" that you exude. I have truely said to myself, "I want to be as cool as Jared is." Not Fonzey Cool, Great Person Cool. Again, this is coming from left field, but it is sincere. It made me smile just hearing about the Ron, your brothers, and parents. And it made me again, think how "cool" you are. Our prayers are with you. Love, Tristan.
